Pilibhit: A big controversy has emerged in Pilibhit about the office of Samajwadi Party (SP). The municipality has accused the SP’s office of illegally running. Now an order to vacate it has been issued. Therefore, this action will now be implemented. Now the local administrative officer and Samajwadi Party have come face to face for this action. The matter has reached Akhilesh Yadav and is now taking political color. The UP police is also ready for action and has created the entire force here, that too for the entire 7 police stations. Let us know what is the whole matter.
After this, the SP started a legal battle against this decision. The then SP District President Anand Singh Yadav filed a petition in the High Court, but on 1 December 2020, he withdrew it himself. Subsequently, in the year 2021, the SP filed a case in the court of the Civil Judge (Senior Division), which is still under consideration.
SP did not accept this order
The municipality issued a notice to the SP to vacate the office by 10 June 2025. It was clearly stated in this notice that the SP office is being operated illegally and it should be evacuated immediately. However, the SP did not accept this order. After this, the municipality took a tough stance and decided to take action.
SP workers will lie outside the office
On the other hand, SP’s Lok Sabha in -charge Virpal Singh has reached Pilibhit and held a PDA meeting with party workers. He has termed the process of vacating the office as undemocratic and said that the SP will struggle at two levels on this issue. One in the court and the other on the road with the public. The SP leader warned that if the administration forcefully, the workers would lie outside the office. He told that the party is at this place for the last 25 years. This matter is under the notice of SP President Akhilesh Yadav. A case of former District President Anand Singh is under consideration in the court. On the question asked in this regard, Virpal Singh refused to comment.
