Shortly after the launch, Xpeng announced that G7 had received 10,000 pucca orders, the current price is less than the starting price of 235,800 yuan, which was declared on June 11 during the G7 pre-cells. The G7 is placed between the G6 compact crossover and the G9 large SUV. Interestingly, it has no AWD or dual-motor variant, but only one powertrain option: 218 kW rear-wheel drive (RWD), which can achieve a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.
Two battery options
However, it has two battery options, 68.5 kwh, which is perfect for 602 km CLTC range, and 80.8 kwh, which is good for 702 km CLTC range. Both variants have an 800V charging platform, and the battery supports 5C charging rates. The Xpeng G7 has two Nvidia Drive Orin Chips with 508 TOPS (trillion operations per second), but the top trim version has three XPENG in-houses developed turning AI chips, including 2,250 TOPS.
5 doors, 5 seater
Xpeng G7 is a 5-door 5-seater, which has a length/width/height 4892/1925/1655 mm. Its wheelbase reaches 2,890 mm. The G7 has an 87-inch anchted reality head-up display (AR-HUD), which has been developed by Huawei, which changes a traditional instrument panel.
Launched on 27 June
Xiaomi Yu7 was launched on 27 June and received 200,000 pucca orders in just three minutes, which were sold for a year, as the waiting time for some trims is up to 60 weeks. Xpeng delivered 34,611 cars in June, which is a growth of 224% year-on-year.
