Sheikhpura: In Bihar, the controversy of just breaking greens took such a turn that 9 people were taken behind the prison bars. The court, while hearing all the accused members on the basis of FIR registered in other sections including IPC 307, was sentenced not only to go to jail. Rather, a fine of 10-10 thousand rupees has been imposed. This whole matter is from Sheikhpura district of Bihar. Actually, this entire Majra is associated with breaking greens from the field 12 years ago.

A clash between two sides in Gujarsa village of Sirari police station area of Sheikhpura district took place on 20 January 2013 when Jairam Singh’s minor granddaughter was breaking greens in the field. Meanwhile, Shyam Sundar Singh and Shailendra Singh of the village beat up the girl. When Dada Jairam Singh and Bharat Singh rescued, they were also beaten badly. On seeing this, bloody clashes started between the two sides with brick and stones and sticks. According to the FIR lodged in the police station, the incident included Amit Kumar alias Munna, Jairam Singh, Bharat Kumar Singh, Vivek Kumar and Pankaj Kumar from one side, while Shyam Sundar Singh, Shailendra Singh, Kanhaiya Singh and Rahul Kumar from the other side.
Section 307 of IPC, behind bars
According to the decision from the court, both sides had lodged an FIR against each other in this case. The court convicted all the accused of both sides under other sections including Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the IPC. Therefore, on Saturday, the court of Sheikhpura Chief District and Sessions Judge Pawan Kumar Pandey gave a unique verdict. In this regard, Uday Narayan Singh said that in the violent clashes case during the breaking greens in Gujarsa village 12 years ago, 9 people of both sides imprisoned 7-7 years and fined Rs 10-10 thousand.
