Srinagar: Security forces have achieved great success in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir. Top Jaish-e-Mohammed Commander trained by Pakistan’s Special Services Group (SSG) has been killed in an encounter. According to reports, the slain terrorist has been identified as Abdul Jabbar. This terrorist was the mastermind of many terrorist attacks in Udhampur, Kathua and Doda for the last one year. Terrorist’s code name is being described as ‘Maulvi’. Jaish commander was killed in the operation conducted on the basis of intelligence. This action has caused a major setback to the terrorist network active in Jammu region. Security agencies have considered it a big success.
A large number of soldiers are deployed in the area. On Thursday, the encounter took place during a joint operation of army and police in Bihali area of Basantgarh. The Indian Army confirmed this.
