New Delhi: Munawar Farooqui has an old relationship with controversies, but he gained immense popularity from reality shows like ‘lockup’ and ‘Bigg Boss’. He is a famous standup comedian and rapper. They are now earning a name from acting. His first web series ‘First Copy’ is getting stream. Amid the promotion of the series, Munawwar spoke of films in which she got a chance to work with stars like Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
The offer was played in the film ‘Darlings’
Before the web series ‘First Copy’, Munawar Farooqui was offered many roles. He further says, ‘Offers of many films were received, but good brother I did not do.’ When he was asked about films, he mentioned Katrina Kaif’s film ‘Bhoot Police’ and Alia Bhatt’s film ‘Darlings’.
When Munawwar faced rejection
Munawwar also went to audition for the role in films, but his roles were very small. He further says, ‘I am not alive in a role and I just have to come for 1-2 minutes. In another role, I am sitting in a medical store and someone comes there to take medicines. Munawwar was rejected for these roles. The comedian said that those who were selected were better actor than them.
