Nirav Modi News: A Mumbai court has given a big relief to Punjab National Bank (PNB) and ordered the release of assets of fugitive diamond businessman Nirav Modi and his sister Purvi Modi to release assets worth Rs 66.33 crore.

Nirav Modi News: In a major legal action related to the Punjab National Bank (PNB) scam, the special court has allowed the assets of fugitive diamond businessman Nirav Modi and his sister Purvi Modi to hand over assets worth about Rs 66.33 crore to the bank. These properties had already been seized by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the case of money laundering. The court approved the PNB’s petition and allowed these properties to sell or auction, so that the bank could recover its dues.

Diamond businessman Mehul Choksi, along with his nephew Nirav Modi, has defrauded Punjab National Bank of about Rs 13,500 crore. Mehul Choksi left India and escaped as soon as the matter was Ujachar.
