Jehanabad Patna-Gaya road in Jehanabad district of Bihar has been built at a cost of about 100 crores but dozens of trees are standing in the middle of the main road. 7.48 km long trees on this road are also feasting on accidents. Actually, the old road from Kanodi to Iki has been given to the road construction department. This road was earlier included in the NH-83. The road widening started two years ago. Due to many obstacles, it is running at a low speed. Many meetings were also held at the district level, but no objection certificate was received from the forest department.

Local people said that many times there was a road accident due to these trees. There are dozens of trees on this road, about 7.48 km long. During this project of road widening, there is also a tension between the forest department and the district administration regarding the harvesting of trees. The forest department demanded compensation of 14 hectares of forest land in lieu of cutting of trees. The district administration has not yet fulfilled his condition. Meanwhile, the agency engaged in the construction work widen the road but left the tree in the middle.
