In Vijaypura district of Karnataka, one of the country’s largest bank robbery has been exposed, which surprised the police to the general public. In fact, on 25 May, gold jewelery worth about Rs 53 crore was found missing in a branch of Canara Bank in Manguli town. There were recovered items like saffron, turmeric and blotorce near the bank locker. Seeing this, it seemed as if it is a matter related to a tantric activity, but as the investigation went ahead, the whole secret came out which surprised everyone.
Plan made during deployment in bank
Investigation revealed that this was a fully planned conspiracy, in which the main accused Mariyala laid the foundation of this robbery during his posting. In March-April itself, he handed over the keys of the bank to his colleagues and prepared to enter the bank through duplicate keys. After his transfer on May 9, the accused decided to carry out the plan so that the suspicion does not go on him.
RCB defeat deferred decision
Earlier the date of robbery was fixed on 23 May, as there was an IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad on that day, and the culprits were thinking that the celebrations in the celebration will not pay attention to their activities. But as soon as RCB lost, he extended the robbery one day.
After committing the robbery, the accused left saffron, turmeric and blotorce inside the bank to make the investigators feel that it could be tantric activity. The police formed eight teams to investigate this high-profile case. Based on the activities of a suspected car, the police found an important clue. When it was found that the car was in the name of Miriyala and he was questioned, he accepted the crime.
