Umesh Kumar wrote on social media that when his company took out a post of backnd engineer, then about 1000 applications came in just 2–3 days. But less than 5 of them were useful. He gave a simple coding task, and the code submitted by most people was AI-generated, useless and such code that did not work. Umesh expressed displeasure and said, “Is it more to demand that at least the code goes on?”
