New Delhi. If you often withdraw money from ATM, then this news is important for you. Difficulties for you are going to increase from July 1. In fact, many big banks of the country are going to withdraw money from ATMs and other services from July 1, 2025. Last month, many public sector banks had announced to increase the ATM charge and now private banks like ICICI Bank, Axis Bank and Federal Bank have also joined this list.
ICICI Bank has told in the notification sent to customers that from 1 July 2025, services like ATM withdrawal, cash deposits, IMPS and demand draft are being changed.
ATM Transaction (on ATM of other banks)
- The first 3 transaction free in Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore and Hyderabad
- First 5 transactions free in other cities
- After this, ₹ 21 + GST on every financial transaction
- And ₹ 8.50 + GST on Non-Financial Transaction
ATM uses abroad
- ₹ 125 + 3.5% currency conversion fees on withdrawn cash
- Non-Financial Transaction: ₹ 25
- Senior citizens exempted from these charges
Up to Rs 10,000: Rs 50 per DD
More than Rs 10,000: 5 rupees per 1,000 rupees per 1,000
Minimum fee: Rs 75, maximum: Rs 15,000
IMPS Charge (Applied from 1 May 2024)
Up to Rs 1,000: Rs 2.50
1,000 to 25,000 rupees: 5 rupees
25,000 to 5 lakh rupees: 15 rupees
ATM Transaction- ₹ 23 (Financial) and ₹ 12 (Non-Financial) after Free Limit
Cash handling- 3 cash transactions free every month
Axis Bank (Applied from 1 July)
3 free transactions in metro and 5 free transactions in non-metro followed by Rs 23 (financial) and 10–12 (non-financial) per transaction
