In general, Dr. Bowls recommend using rice water for hair once a week, but it all depends on your hair type. “If you have normal for oily hair, do not use it to more than two to three times a week so that you do not overprote the hair,” Fabian says. “If you have dried, curly, or clogged hair, use it once or every other week. If your hair is delicate, I recommend using it every other shampoo.”
