Iraq has long been a battleground of drones and rocket attacks and has proved to be fertile ground for proxy wars.
But it recently gained a glimpse of stability after decades of destructive conflicts and upheaval.
Last week, the 12-day Iran-Israel War ended a few hours before a ceasefire, unknown drones hit the radar system at two military bases in Baghdad and southern Iraq.
The government said that it has started investigating the drone attacks, but has not yet identified any criminals.
