A 22-year-old man was shot in a firing incident in Delhi’s Kalkaji on Saturday. The incident took place in the DDA flats area, which comes under Kalkaji police station limits. Reacting to the incident, Aam Aadmi Party state unit chief Saurabh Bharadwaj slammed the BJP-led government in the city over the law and order situation, saying that “crime in Delhi is at its peak”
Police are present at the scene and an investigating into the matter is underway to identify the culprits and ascertain the motive behind the shooting. The man has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.

The AAP leader said that the condition of the man is critical. He further said a group of men were sitting on a terrace when Manav was shot in the neck.
“Under BJP’s four-engine government, crime in Delhi is at its peak. We’ve never seen something like this happen in Kalkaji before…Just a few months ago, a security guard was murdered, and today, a man was shot. I have been told that a group of young men were sitting on a terrace when one of them was shot in the neck. His condition is critical and he’s currently hospitalised,” he said.
