Apple ,Aapl -0.17%, The market has been one of the most popular shares in the market since a decade, and many investors have called it a basic stock that every investor himself should have. I am not a great fan of Apple’s stock, and I believe there are far more options than Apple to add to a portfolio.
The largest company that I think investors should add to their portfolio on Apple Alphabet ,Good 1.74%, ,Gogal 1.69%,The original company of Google. I can wonder three reasons why the alphabet is a better purchase, but there are many more possibilities that separate the alphabet.

1. The growth rate of the alphabet is higher
While assessing stock, the first state that I usually see is the growth rate. Although this is not all, it allows me to understand what kind of business I am watching. When I assess the alphabet, I give a company continuously a low-double-digit revenue growth, which tells me that it is a stable producer, but still provides market-beating development. For Apple, I see a company that is barely growing at the rate of inflation and coming out of many quarters of revenue shrinking.

From this point of view, the alphabet is a far more attractive investment, but the revenue growth is not everything for both of them. Both companies are mature, so Earnings share (EPS) Development should also be considered.
From this point of view, the alphabet is the light year before apple. Apple cannot increase its EPS above 10% per quarter, which means it will grow at a slower pace than the wider market.

As a result, the alphabet looks like a better company when development is considered.
2. The alphabet is innovating
Tech companies, one of the largest areas, are investing heavily in IS Artificial Intelligence (AI). However, Apple is a notable exception. Its Apple Intelligence (AI) products on APLE) are well behind its primary competitors, and the company has failed to launch any game-changing features. In addition, Apple’s sales depends a lot on iPhones, which have not seen much innovation in the last few years.
On the other hand, the alphabet is still innovating. It is at the forefront of AI technology, making heavy investments to ensure that its equipment is best available for users. The alphabet is also innovating in other industries, such as Wemo, its self-driving car start-up.
No matter how you see it, the alphabet is still developing and growing as a company, while Apple still looks like the same business that was three years ago. This appears at the growth rate, and this is another reason that I favor the alphabet stock on Apple.
3. Apple’s stock is more expensive
Although I have painted the alphabet more attractive than Apple, the market does not look at it in this way. Apple’s stock trades at far more premium than the alphabet, and alphabet stock is really cheaper S&P 500 ,^GSPC 0.80%,Which trades 22.8 times further for earning.

This makes alphabet’s stock not only attractive than Apple, but is also more attractive than the wider market, as it is historically growing at a far higher speed than the market.
