5 luxury travel hacks: luxury travel experiences on a budget

5 luxury travel hacks: luxury travel experiences on a budget

We all love luxury travel experiences, but unfortunately, not all our credit cards agree! Today I am sharing five of my top luxury trip hacks, for those people in a lifetime experiences are always dreaming.

You do not need to be a millionaire to sail around Croatia on a private boat or a lifetime road trip in a luxury sports car. You can stay in 5* hotel without breaking the bank and you can blow a business class on the budget!

Cheap luxury trip is about all balance

For me, there is about balanced luxury experiences with inexpensive luxury travel budget.

I can take £ 25 Ryanyer flights and then stay in a luxury hotel. I can spend half my holiday in a grand hotel and the other half in the budget Airbnb. I can stay in the budget residence, but are eating in fancy restaurants and behaving myself for luxury adventure experiences.

Just because you are in a good hotel, it does not mean that you will recover all the week and just because you fly in the first grade, it does not mean that you are in a luxury hotel.

All this is about balanced the budget and luxury and spend your hard -working cash on things that matter to you.

And when you really want to try some luxury travel experiences, it is told here how you can do it without blowing your entire budget!

5 luxury trip hack

1. Private boat and luxury boats

We all have seen pictures of celebs about crystal clear water on our personal boats, which look impossible and happy!

If you fancy a piece of it, it is completely possible to rent a boat for the day for a reasonable price. Boat rental Really very straightforward and for many small boats you do not even need a boat license. Large boats can come up with an alternative skipper and when you divide the cost between a small group of people, it is actually a very inexpensive way for a luxury travel experience!

2. Road trips in luxury sports car

If you have ever dreamed of driving with a beautiful coastal road with a car roof, then the sea air in your hair and the endless view of the sea, then it is for you.

If you are more than 28, it is actually quite cheap to rent a luxury sports car for a day. If you are under 28, it is still possible, it is just more expensive.

To make things even more economical, you can also place a luxury car with a driver for a few hours to give you to that luxury stretch in an easy and more economical way.

3. 5* staying in hotels

There are some ways to experience luxury hotel on the budget.

  1. Balance a luxury hotel with a budget hotel (3 nights in luxury and 3 nights in budget)
  2. Go to countries where luxury hotels are quite cheap, such as Bali or Morocco,
  3. Stay in mid -week instead of weekend
  4. If you have a favorite hotel brand to collect points and use them for upgrade, then sign up for hotel loyal programs
  5. Beware of sales and members’ programs

The reason to beware of sales and members’ programs is, personally, I often do not think they really save me a lot of money. You can get incredibly inexpensive sales prices, but they are never on the dates you really want to travel and they are usually for budget, basic rooms. I am not saying that you cannot get great value in sales, I am just asking to be careful and asking yourself if you are really getting a good deal.

If you are staying in a hotel for facilities like swimming pool and bar, a original room may be cured for you. But make sure you check if there is a restriction because sometimes basic rooms do not allow access to luxury pools and bars!

4. Trade class flights on a budget

The most popular luxury travel hack is collecting points on your credit card and using your points to pay for business class flights.

The best thing about this trip hack is that you are using your everyday expenses to benefit your holidays. Do not be wooed to spend more on your everyday shopping to collect more points as it defeats the object too much!

The most popular program in the UK is Avos because there are many ways to collect and spend your marks. Your Avos Points are valid for 3 years, so even if you are not a massive spander, the points can be added slowly.

I recommend signing up on credit card with a welcome bonus and you will often get additional marks to spend a certain amount within the first few months – so it is great to sign up before making big purchases like a new sofa or a big holiday. If you are able to put work expenses on your credit card and then claim them back, it is also another great way that you can see your points.

5. Luxury cruises

If you are thinking that there is no way, then you can get a luxury cruise on a budget, then think again! Cruises can really be an effective way to see the world.

The truth is that the ‘base price’ for cruise is really quite cheap. We are all talking about £ 800 for a week of inclusive hovering. When you start adding all extra artists to enter the room upgrade, drink package, food package upgrade, excursion, wifi package, wifi package and hardcore restaurants, revolutions begin to become expensive.

Well, if you want a full luxury experience then you probably want some of these upgrade, but there is no reason that you cannot cruise without them!

The cheapest cruise prices require you to depart at the beginning or end of the hovering season, when prices fall due to unexpected weather. But here is the truth, I have taken six cruises and I have only left only at the beginning or end of the season and I have only experienced some sea. I believe it was too thick and I was feeling very sick, but it was worth a risk and I do not regret at all for heavy discounts.

Another trick is to choose an interior cabin option on the ship as it will dramatically cut the cost!

The full experience will still be luxurious and incredible, it would just be a fraction of the price.

Selective sharing on social media

Social media plays a big role in influencing our travel decisions, but I just want to tell that all this is not real.

I am going to affect a trip and I can confirm that there are lots of ‘selective sharing’ on social media for many effects. This is not necessary, it is leaving some facts from the photos! It is taking photos on a luxury boat and you are resting on it throughout the day, when you are really only for a crowd tour and a quick photo op. This is a photo shoot in 5* hotel rooms where you have spent one night, not a whole journey! This is a budget of airport with designer suitcases before going on a budget ryanair flight!

If you want to join with selective sharing then you do and enjoy it every minute. But if you are scrolling and wondering how everyone is fulfilling these luxury travel experiences…. They are not!
