Israeli naval ships have targeted the port city of Hadedah in Hurti-controlled Yemen.
The Israeli army said in a statement that attacks were carried out to target Israel in response to the Houthi missiles and the purpose was to prevent the use of the port for “military objectives”.
There was no immediate report on the number of casualties.
Images posted on social media showed black plums of smoke from the port, in which two separate attacks were reported.
Hothis have regularly launched missiles in Israel in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza. On Thursday, a Helthi missile was intercepted over Jerusalem, while last month one was killed by one Israel’s main airport ground.
The attacks on Hooseda, which were carried out by naval vessels instead of unusually aircraft, were held in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) issued a warning warning to all the people present at the first Hudada port, as well as other hatched-controlled ports of Ras Isa and Salif.
IDF Arabic spokesperson EVICH Adrai wrote on X, “Due to the use of ports for their terrorist activities of the terrorist Hurti regime, we urge all the people present at all these ports to stay away from them for their safety until the next notice.”
Nasruddin Amer, Deputy Chief of Hauthis Media Office, wrote on X that the attack had no significant impact on the operation of the group.
He wrote, “It also has no effect on the morale of our people, who take to the streets weekly … in support of Gaza,” he wrote.
The Hudadas port, which is the main entry point for food and other humanitarian aid for millions of Yemeni, has aimed at many Israeli attacks in the previous year.
Last month, a person was killed in an Israeli strike, the Ministry of Health in a statement at that time. Israeli officials said the strike dropped the port out of action for about a month.
The Iran-backed Houthi Group has controlled the northwest Yemen since 2014, when they excluded the internationally recognized government from the capital Sana, and provoked a disastrous civil war.
The Hothis began attacking ships passing through the Red Sea in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza after the Israeli’s army started an aggressive starting an aggressive in response to the attack of the Palestinian armed group Hamas on Israel in October 2023.

US President Donald Trump participated in the campaign after taking over, until a ceasefire reached a ceasefire in early May.
