As the week came to know, it became clear that Mitchell Barnier would become the smallest Prime Minister in the history of the fifth Republic. Certainly, on Wednesday evening, his government was dismissed by Parliament. Due to no party or alliance close to the majority in the National Assembly, France now faces a range of short -term minority governments that will struggle to complete anything.
