Many other Bollywood celebrities also reacted to the Air India plane accident on Thursday. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan shared a hearty message, which said, “My prayer for the news about the accident in Ahmedabad … my prayer for the victims, their families and all the affected.” During this time, Salman Khan Wrote, “Ahmedabad became very sad to hear about the plane crash … hearty prayers for passengers, crew and families of all the affected.”

Last night, Air India confirmed the tragic accident in an official statement on social media, which wrote, “Update: Air India confirmed that flight AI 171, operated from Ahmedabad to London Gatwick on 12 June 2025, was involved in an accident. 1338-8 aircraft departed in 1338 HRS, which was diagnosed in 130 HRS, after 1230. To ride, 241 are confirmed fatal.
