The Sir Kir Stmper at the Labor Party hit back its plans to cut the profit bill in potential rebels, stating that “we have received to achieve reforms.”
The MPS will vote on a package of measures aimed at cutting the profit bill by 2030 in the coming weeks.
The Welfare Reform Bill will include proposals to make it difficult for people with personal freedom payments in England, Wales and Northern Ireland, or to claim PIPs.
Talking to reporters, the Prime Minister said: “We have received to achieve reforms, and I have been clear about it from beginning to end.
“The system is not working. It is not working for those who need support, it is not working for taxpayers.
“Everyone agrees that it requires improvement, we have got to improve it and that is what we intend to do.”
Last week, Ministers demanded assurance of nervous labor MPs A transition period for those whose benefits are being withdrawn.
Dozens of labor MPs have expressed concern about the plans to cut PIP payment and the element related to universal credit disease.
Many people have said that they are ready to vote against primary law which the government needs to pass to change welfare payments.
According to the assessment of the government’s impact as a whole, the welfare package can push additional 250,000 people, including 50,000 children, into relative poverty.
Asked whether there could be further concessions, Sir Kir said that he was firm to move forward with changes:
“Principles remain the same, which can work, they should work.
“Those who need support to work must have the support to work that I do not think they are getting this time.
“Those who are never going to be able to work should be properly supported and preserved.
“Therefore they are the principles, we need to improve and we will meet with that improvement when the bill comes.”
