Clarna’s CEO is so fast about artificial intelligence that he sees it changing the manner of 100 million user banks of Fintech every day.

On Wednesday, Klarna – Popular “Buy Buy Now Pay, Pay Payment Method – Telecom Services Startup is announcing the launch of mobile phone plans in the US through partnership with startup Gigs. The move runs on the footsteps of rival Fintech Revolt and N26, who have started similar offerings. Clarna’s plans come with unlimited data, calls and texts and will cost $ 40 per month.

The new Telco offer CEO Sebastian aligns with the vision of Ciemiyatcovski, which makes Clarna more as an all-surface individual financial “super app”, which can offer services out of the realm of traditional finance.

This is not the company’s first attempt. Earlier, Clarna tried to make herself more equal for a “super app” – similar to the alipi of Ant Group and Tensent WeChat Pay – Offering additional services through several different buttons. It ended “confused for the customer”, however, CNBC in an interview by Cymiyatcovsky.

But Clarna Boss insisted that AI can play AI known for diversification in its services and more than his BNPL offering.

“I think in this new AI world, there is a better opportunity to serve customers with different services and then historically adopt the level of articulation and visualization of those services,” said Ciaemiatkowski.

“With AI, you can adopt the experience for the specific user with which you are working with,” he said.

Super apps are popular in China and in other parts of Asia. They are to work as an one-stop shop for all your mobile needs-for example, paying taxi-hyling and food at the same place in the form of payment and message services.

However, while super apps have developed in Asia, the adoption in the western markets is still there Slowly for several reasons,

‘Tremendous opportunity’

Siemiatkowski says that he is spending a lot of time to focus on AI.

“There is a tremendous opportunity for him – but it’s just getting to work,” he said. “Everyone who has used it knows that it can spit some exciting goods, but then you need to make sure it works every time.”

Moving forward, the head of Clarna is seen becoming more “digital financial assistants” as “digital financial assistant” for users every day banking needs.

“If we have some information that suggests that you are overpaying for your carrier subscription or your data or whatever,” Call Ciaemiatcovski, aim to use Clarna AI “Offer both of you to suggest a better price model, but also with a click, apply it and make it a reality.”

Accepting the issues with Clarna’s previous attempt to become a super app, Ciaemiatcovski says the technique was not “mature” at that time.

“Finally, the North Star for all financial products – especially Fintech companies – have to try to be a financial advisor in their pockets,” Simon Taylor, Sardin.AI told CNBC. “The private banker likes the experience, but has been provided by a brand that becomes a super-aggregator of your financial life, and that is the one who looks at the ‘owner of the customer’ at the age of AI.”

Taylor said that, while many firms are still finding out how to use AI, “You have publicly found companies like Clarna Building and are trying to grab the market share for the future that cannot be made yet.”

Clare Loss of $ 99 million reported For the quarter ending in March, citing one-closed cost related to depreciation, share-based payments and restructuring.

Perception problem

Nevertheless, there is a perception problem to overcome the clarna. In the US, the firm “Buy now, pay later” (BNPL) is synonymous with payment method, which allows consumers to pay orders on monthly installments-usually interest-free.

In contrast, European consumers believe that they can use Clarna to store their deposits and pay for things at one time as well as through a credit plan, according to Ciaemiatcovsky.

He “expressed disappointment with the kind of memes that we meet in America, ‘Oh, Clarna launched Doordash … it is a sign of macroeconomic environment, “referring to A Tie-up company announced with food delivery app Dordash Earlier this year, which was found with online backlash.

Siemiakowski said that such a response would not be in the German or Nordic markets, where the Clarna online payment system operates more like Paple.

He sees a future where Clarna works as a more universal financial ecosystem with facilities for add-on services such as stock and cryptocurrency-who, he adds, “she is not far away.

He said, “People offer the ability to invest in both stock and crypto, which is becoming a more standard part of a neobank offering,” he said, while insisting he does not want to compete with the popular American stock trading app while emphasizing. Robin,

When will Clarna IPO?

Clare Plan to go publicly in April stoppedUS President Donald Trump after announcing tariffs on dozens of countries.

Sieemiatkowski said that Clarna has already achieved what it is ready to do to get ready for that milestone – that is, the manufacture of a brand in America

“America is now our largest market with the number of users. It is a profitable market for us,” he said. “Those things have been completed.”

Whether the company makes public or not goes, the business strategy for Clarna is the same.

“This is just a healthy way for our shareholders to run liquidity, as well as give the company more ways to fund itself, if he would like to do so, and … to show that it is an established company,” SieemiatCowski said.
