Golden State Warriors Head coach Steve Cair promoted his son Nicolas to the coaching staff on Thursday.
32 -year -old Nicholas Kerr served as the head coach of Warriors G. League in Santa Cruz (California) in the last two sessions. Santa Cruz moved 20–14 and finished fourth in each of the last two sessions at the Western Conference of G. League.
Born in Cleveland and raised in San Diego, Nicholas Kerr played San Diego and college basketball in Cal. He served as a graduate assistant in Cal in 2016-17 season before proceeding. San antonio spurs as an intern.
Young Kerr worked in the Player Development Department for Warriors and was a video coordinator for three sessions. Before becoming the head coach in 2023 in 2021, Warriors hired him as a G. League Assistant Coach in Santa Cruise.
Steve Cair, 59, has been the head coach of the Golden State for the 11 sessions starting in 2014-15. Warriors have won four NBA titles during their tenure and have moved six times in the NBA finals. The team is 567-308 in the regular session under Steve Kerr with 104 playoff win.
