In October 2022, the Kerala government had told the court that it was considering enacting such a law. But the petition was dismissed in June 2023, as no representative was present in the court on behalf of the petitioner. The petition was later restored. On 3 June 2025, a division bench of Chief Justice Nitin Jamdar and Justice Basant Balaji directed the government to file an affidavit. In this, the government was asked to clarify its previous stance, ie, the opponent law law. The next hearing of the case will be on 24 June.

The organization also demanded that superstition, black magic and content related to films, OTT platforms, TV serials and YouTube should be declared illegal. However, materials with good intentions and artistic values ​​can be exempted from this.
