Kay Mason Bilig said that his personal post was excluded from the context

A council leader asked for “unreserved” to post a picture of a stake dinner on Facebook with words: “Surprisingly what all poor people are doing?”

Professor Paul Whitle said that personal posts were going public “certainly embarrassing”

While the post was made on his personal page, the government’s Essex Professor of Government Paul Whitley said that politicians would have to be careful using social media.

“For anyone who did not know him, he would feel as if he was getting rude about those who are poor, even if he does not mean what he means,” he said.

“This is what will look like a vast majority of the people.”

Watkins, who has the main opposition groups in the Liberal Democrats Council, stated that Mason Bilig “should immediately consider his resignation”.

“A councilor is never away from duty. These comments make fun of many people in our county, who are struggling to end.”

Labor Group leader Steve Morphue said that Mason Bilig was “out of touch”.
