“So you are just going out of there and you can do the best. I am proud of it. I gave myself a chance.”
World No. 6 later continued that he never thought of withdrawing from the tournament despite the disease.
“I am trying to recover and do stuff, but the body, when you have something like this, don’t really want to play 2 hours 20 matches in the summer,” the Brit said.
“You know, this is probably not good for you, so you are not going to feel better.
“Yes, I mean, today I have probably felt the worst. Have I thought about taking back? No, not at all. I am in the queen’s semi -finals. I will probably go to court with a broken leg.
