Lucknow/Mathura. The arrested accused has been identified as Shyam Bihari. The accused was working as a priest in a temple in Bati village for the last 10 years. Taking self -cognizance of the matter, the CBI registered a case on 17 June 2025, after which Shyam Bihari was arrested on 19 June.
A CBI spokesperson said, “The accused used to sexually abuse the minor children, make pornographic photos and videos of them, and threatened them and sold these materials on the Internet.
The family of any victim’s child did not complain
The shocking thing is that neither the victims nor their families had earlier filed a complaint with any police station or other law enforcement agency in this case. The CBI exposed the matter through its cyber monitoring, high-tech forensic equipment and international cooperation. According to the CBI, Shyam Bihari is accused of intimidating minor children, sexually abusing them and preparing their pornographic material. Apart from this, he used to sell these videos and photos at various online platforms and possibly high prices on the dark web. This material was being spread not only in India, but also internationally. The CBI has decided to pursue its investigation in this case so that other possible accused associated with this racket can be detected.
