The twin centuries in the Leeds Test secures them this career-Best ICC record

India’s star wicketkeeper-son Rishabh Pant scored a magnificent twin century in the first test of the five-match series against England. This feat brought him to the best 7th position of his career in the latest ICC Test batting rankings.

After his twin centuries in the series-owner against England in Leeds, India’s swashballing wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant reached a career-high seventh position in the latest ICC test rankings for batsmen on Wednesday.

India’s new Test Captain Shubman Gill took a total of five Roungs to 20th in the first innings of the match, in which England lost by five wickets despite setting a rigorous target of 371.

Pants, who became the second wicketkeeper to hit two hundreds in a single match during the first test of the five -match series, climbed one place in the list.

The 27 -year -old pants before joining him, Zimbabwe’s Andy Flower remained the only stumper with two centuries in the same Test match.

Pants hit 134 and 118 in the thrilling Leeds Tests, which England won by five wickets.

There was little change in the ranking for the Test bowlers, in which India’s Paes Spearhead Jasprit Bumrah maintained its place at the top of the chart after another five wickets in the headingley Test.

Meanwhile, Ben Docket, who was prepared as a match player for a score of 62 and 149 in England’s victory, jumped into five places in the ranking.

Docket’s team partner Oli Pope (three spots in 19th place) and Jamie Smith (27th in eighth places) also made significant benefits.

England veteran Joe Root No. 1 rank remained the test batter, team partner Harry Brook broke his nearest challenge.

England captain Ben Stokes finished fifth in the list for testing all -rounders after concrete contribution with both bat and ball in the same game.

The first Test between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh saw a host of its players to make some inroads in the latest batsmen rankings. Mushfiqur Rahim led the path after his innings of 163 in Galle.

Raheim secured 11 spots for Test batsmen to move 28th, while team partner Najmul Hussain Shanto jumped at 21 places to improve 29th in the same list when they made a pair of tonnes in the same match.
