Jharkhand Rain Alert: There is torrential rains in many districts of Jharkhand. In such a situation, 360 mm of rain has been recorded in East Singhbhum. At the same time, alert for heavy rain has been issued till 3 July.

Ranchi: East Singhbhum district of Jharkhand has been receiving heavy rainfall for the last 24 hours, with a record 360 mm rainfall. At the same time, Hazaribagh, Khunti, Lohardaga and Ranchi are also raining continuously. Ranchi Meteorological Department said that there is no possibility of getting relief from rain in the coming days. Because from today to 3 July, alert for heavy rain has been issued.

A red alert has been issued till July 3 in the southern districts of Jharkhand like Khunti, Seraikela Kharsawan, Eastern and West Singhbhum, Simdega, Gumla. There is a possibility of more than 300 mm rainfall here and the wind speed can be 50 to 60 km per hour. At the same time, there is also a possibility of intense thunderstorms. The Ranchi Meteorological Department has advised the people of these districts not to get out of the house and not to go to the open field. Cattle have been asked to avoid grazing and driving at the time of heavy rains.
At the same time, Yellow alert has been issued for Ranchi, Hazaribagh, Lohardaga, Latehar, Bokaro, Dhanbad and Palamu districts. There is a warning of heavy rain here and the wind speed can be 30 to 40 km per hour and there is also a possibility of thunderstorms. This situation will remain till 3 July.
