According to police, the 42 -year -old actor fell at his residence on Friday night. Her husband, television actor Parag Tyagi, rushed her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri, where doctors declared her dead on arrival. Preliminary findings suggested that he might have to face cardiac arrest. His body was later transferred to RN Cooper Hospital, Juhu for post -mortem.

Police said the doctors of Cooper Hospital suspect the death of Shefley Jariwala as a sudden dip in its blood pressure level.

Police said the actor was demonstrating at his residence for Satyanarayana Puja on Sunday. Her husband told the police that she fell after consuming food prepared a day earlier.

The police have recorded statements of the actor’s husband and family members. While collecting Panchnama from his residence, the police found two boxes with anti-aging tablets, skin glow pills and vitamin pills. A police officer said that the actor’s family said that she was taking a tablet without consulting the doctor, but it never caused any problem.

“There is no doubt about any dishonesty yet. We are waiting for the post -mortem report,” the official said.

Jariwala’s family performed his last rites as the police registered a case of accidental death (ADR).
