After a week of disruptge due to landslides, the train services Between South Assam, Tripura, Manipur, and Mizoram and the rest of the country via guwahati partialy resumed on sunday, offiqials.

Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) Kapinjal Kishore Sharma said on Sunday that the first Goods Train and the first passenger train Landslide-affected location at jatinga lampur after restoration of the affected railway tracks.

NFR General Manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava Visited the Site to Assess The Ground Situation, Review Restoration Progress, and Encourage the field teams.
He Instructed that Maximum Manpower and Machinery be deployed to accelerate the restoration efforts and ensure early resumption of train services on this Vital Hill Section.
Due to the effect of the railway tracks, the nfr has canceled, diverted, and short-term train trains Scheduled to operate in these areas.
