Train Services Partially Restored In Parts Of North East After Week-Long Disruption | India News

After a week of disruptge due to landslides, the train services Between South Assam, Tripura, Manipur, and Mizoram and the rest of the country via guwahati partialy resumed on sunday, offiqials.

NFR General Manager Chetan Kumar Shrivastava Visited the Site to Assess The Ground Situation, Review Restoration Progress, and Encourage the field teams.

He Instructed that Maximum Manpower and Machinery be deployed to accelerate the restoration efforts and ensure early resumption of train services on this Vital Hill Section.

Due to the effect of the railway tracks, the nfr has canceled, diverted, and short-term train trains Scheduled to operate in these areas.

DURING MONSOON, Every year, Several Northeastern States, Especially Tripura, Mizoram, Manipur, and Southern Assam, Remain Cut off from the rest of the Country for Weeks Owing to Lands, Waterloging, And Damage to Railway Tracks, Leading to Hardship for the people of the region.
