The development of poker strategy in the last two decades is no less than a revolutionary. With the rise of solver and poker tools, players now reach the game with the level of knowledge which was once unimaginable.

1. Push-folded strategies
One of the first and most influential GTO successes came up with the development of push-folded strategies for short stack plays. This concept was particularly prevalent in cash sports, where the target was to take advantage of the underlying imbalance in the reactions of most players.
Selected betting only instead of strong hands, the players began to bet almost all hands on some boards, taking advantage of small size protection and pressure. Range-feeding now plays a fundamental role in the post-flop play approved by Solver.
3. Overbating

4. Blockers
The concept of blockers was once a niche idea, but Solver has made it into the headlines. An inhibitor is a card in your hand that reduces the possibility of your opponent holding a specific hand. Even more importantly, the solvers have shown that some blockers unblock your opponent’s folding boundary, making them a major candidate for bluffing.
For example, bluffing with ACE of Hearts on a heart draw board is often better because it reduces the opportunity that is a flush in your opponent, while they can bend while unblocking weak hands. This fine understanding of inhibitory dynamics is now central for high-level decision making, especially in the river bluffing and turn barreling conditions.
5. Equity refusal
The concept of equity refusal has rebuilt how players consider betting on the initial roads. Instead of a slow -paced weakened hands, instead of a solver overcard, the hands are recommended to deny equity to the hands that may bend instead of improvement.
Unlike traditional safety betting, equity refusal focuses on excluding hands that can catch but will not continue aggression vs. Tools such as the GTO wizard help players identify these opportunities, showing when the big bets on the flop or prevent opponents from feeling their equity with hands that will not call a shove, but you can beat you later.
