Republican Congress Brandon Gill criticized Mamdani for eating with his hands and asked him to “go back to the third world”.

A video of Zoharan Mamdani has created a fierce debate to eat rice with his hands, a Republican Senator instigated him to be “rude” and asked him to “go back to the third world”.
In the video, Mamdani – who recently defeated Andrew Kuomo in the race to become the mayor of New York – was seen having a traditional food of a general practice, rice and dal in India, talking about the Palestinian conflict.
“When you are big as someone, especially in the third world, you have a very different understanding of the Palestinian conflict,” they were heard saying in the video.
Republican Congressman Brandon Gill responded to the video using a rigid language, commenting on Mamdani’s ability to suit the western world. “Civilized people in America do not eat this way. If you refuse to adopt western customs, go back to the third world,” he said on X.

Gill’s reaction led to a polarized reaction, in which many people criticize his comment. “Do you get angry with people using chopsticks in an Asian restaurant?” One person replied.
“How do you eat tacos, french fries, burgers etc.? Do you eat with a fork?” Another user commented. A third person wrote, “You can’t really critic their policies so that you resort to personal attacks on their culture.”
A Neitizon also said that Gill had his wife an Indian -original commentator, Daniel D’Suza. Gill represents the 26th Congress district of Texas and has two children – Marigold and Winston.
However, the other netizens accused him of considering his cultural identity for clout. A user shared an old picture of Mamdani using a knife and fork, saying, “It is so fun that the Zohan clearly uses cutlery to eat at all times (even a bartito on the metro), but he eats on camera with his own hands as it is a dress performance for blondes who have a dress to search for him.”
After being accepted by former Governor Andrew Kuomo, 33 -year -old Mamdani, son of Indian filmmaker Meera Nair, made history by becoming the first Muslim nominee for Democrats in the mayoral race of New York City.
However, Mammadani has faced intensive investigation and trolling for her socialist policies and US President Donald Trump has threatened to blame the immigration and customs enforcement (ice) and police, as the other Republican is “100% Communist Lunatic” and joining other Republicans.
The Tennessy Republican representative Andy Ogles expressed his displeasure this week by calling Mamdani “Little Muhammad” and demanded that he be “deported”.
