The Mexico government issued a tropical storm warning from Punta San Telmo to Playa Perula along the south -western coast.
The Tropical Storm Flosi continued to get steam on the south -western Pacific coast of Mexico on Monday afternoon and was projected to turn into a storm overnight. Meanwhile, the remains of the tropical storm Barry dumped the rain on Eastern Mexico.
Flosi strengthened with a maximum continuous winds of 65 mph (100 kmph). It was focused up to 170 miles (270 km) in the south -west of Zihuatanejo and was moving towards north -west at a speed of 12 mph.

Flosi is expected to rapidly intensify a storm on Monday night or early Tuesday, then skirt to the coast for a few days. While its center is estimated to be offshore, there was a possibility of moderate rains in Oxac, Gurro, Michoacain, Kolima and parts of Jalisco earlier next week.
Meanwhile, Barry’s remains were bringing heavy rainfall to the Gulf Coast of Mexico, as it came up with a maximum continuous winds of 30 mph as tropical depression to the south of Tampico, said the US National Hurricane Center in Miami.
