Saryu reached above the warning level
The water level of Saryu has increased rapidly due to heavy rains in the continuous mountainous areas. According to the report of the Central Water Commission and the Ayodhya administration, the water level of Saryu is currently 91.920 meters, which is running 19 cm above the warning level. Officials say that the coming 24 hours will be very important, as it will decide whether the water level will increase or will remain stable.
In view of the rise in the water level, the administration has barricaded the ghats. Also, SDRF, Water Police, and local administration teams are posted at the ghats. Repeated appeals are being made to the devotees not to go into deep water, and take a bath in the safe areas built by the administration.

Assistant Engineer of the Central Water Commission Aman Raj Singh informed that the water level of Saryu is increasing due to continuous rains on the mountains. The water level in the current situation is 91.920 m, which is above the warning level. In the coming 24 hours, it will be decided whether the water level will decrease or increase further. It is clear from this statement that the situation is still under control, but is worrisome.
