There may be change in India’s playing XI for the third Test
The world’s number 1 Test bowler Jasprit Bumrah is ready to return to the Test at Lord’s house in cricket. India’s Test captain Shubman Gill confirmed Bumrah’s return during the post-match presentation ceremony on Sunday. A 31 -year -old fast bowler from Ahmedabad missed the Birmingham Test as part of his workload management.

In his absence, Akash Deep played in Birmingham and after taking a total of 10 wickets (4 in the first and second) in the first and second innings, the 27 -year -old Pacer of Bihar has confirmed his place in the team for the remaining three matches. Bumrah is scheduled to be included in the playing XI in place of the famous Krishna in the third match. Krishna was trolled on X for expensive bowling in the first Test and first innings of the second Test.
Apart from Krishna, all -rounders Nitish Kumar Reddy and Karun Nair can also be excluded from the playing XI for the match at Lord’s. Kuldeep Yadav or Arshdeep Singh can be included in the third Test in place of Nitish. In the second innings of the Birmingham Test, Shubman Gill did not use Nitish for bowling and in batting he could score only 1 run in both innings.
