The debris of the aircraft has been preserved at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport in Ahmedabad, so that its help can be taken in further investigation. Air India said, ‘Air India AI171 is standing in solidarity with the families affected by the accident and others. We mourn this damage and are fully committed to providing assistance in this difficult time. We received the preliminary investigation report issued by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) on 12 July 2025 today. Air India is working closely with all parties including regulators. We will continue full cooperation in their investigation with Aaib and other authorities. In view of the active nature of the investigation, we are unable to make detailed comments on the report.
