The risk of additional rain has warned of various flash floods in Central Texas. In the weekend, several motorists were rescued after driving in high water.
The National Weather Service forecast thunderstorms capable of producing “excessive rainfall and potential floods”. Warning has inspired Ker County officials to ask the rescue team to prevent search operations for victims of deadly floods in the Texas Hill Country area a week ago.
At least 132 people were killed by that flood, in which dozens are still missing.
