The price of 24 carat gold in Patna’s jewelery market is Rs 98800 per 10 grams on Wednesday (July 16). If GST is added, then its price is Rs 101,764 per 10 grams. At the same time, 22 carat gold without GST pairs is selling Rs 91,200 per 10 grams and 18 carat gold is being sold at Rs 74,600 per 10 grams.
Silver decline
According to Pataliputra Bullion Association, the price of one kilo of silver is reduced from Rs 114,000 to Rs 112,000. If GST is added, then its price is Rs 115,360. The sale of silver jewelery with hall mark is being sold at Rs 110 per gram.
The exchange rate of 22 carat gold ornaments is Rs 88,700 while 18 carat gold jewelery is being exchanged for Rs 72,100. The exchange rate of hallmark jewelery in silver is Rs 107 per gram while the exchange rate of jewelery without hallmark is Rs 105 per gram.
What do experts say
Experts believe that this decline has come due to international market signals and dollar strength. Apart from this, there has been some softening in domestic demand. Due to these reasons, pressure has been put on prices.
