Team India was killed on Thursday with concern for a fresh injury. Left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh cut his bowling hand cut during a net session in Manchester, India’s assistant coach Ryan Ten Dotk told reporters. The incident occurred when Arshdeep tried to stop a shot from Sai Reformson during his follow-three. After training, the medical team investigated the 26 -year -old whether the stitches would be necessary or not.“We have to see how bad the cut is,” said Ten Dochet.“Obviously, the medical team is taking him to see a doctor. And whether he needs a stitches, he is going to be important for our plan for the next few days,” he said.
Although Arshdeep is yet to make his Test debut, he was considered as a potential replacement if the team opted to relax a frontline pacer for the fourth Test in Manchester.Ten Dotk also indicated that the team’s combination for the Old Trafford Test now rests on Arshdeep’s seriousness. He said, “We will take a call on the combination we play.”He said, “Especially given Arshdeep’s position, we will make that call closer to Manchester,” he said. The fourth test between India and England will be played at Old Trafford, Manchester starting on July 23.
