Monte Argentario, Italy-Edrian Saddier claimed its first DP World Tour title in its 200th beginning with a back-nine charge at the Italian Open on Sunday.
Saddier had a third-round leader near the 4-under 66 to finish two strokes ahead of fellow French Martin Couvra (69), who did not produce five birdies on seven holes at the Argentina Golf Club on the Tuscan coast.
Saddier and Couvra earned a place in the open field in Royal Portrash, Northern Ireland next month.
Calum Hill of Scotland and Dan Bradbury of England finished third, four strokes behind Sadier.
