Agriculture expert Dinesh Jakhar has warned the farmers to continuously monitor the fields during this rainy season. If the number of pests is found more, then spray the amount of 0.5 ml per liter of imidacloprid 17.8 SC. However, this spraying should be done only when the sky is clear. The use of pesticides during cloudy or rain can damage the crop.
Dinesh Jakhar said that the fruit garden farmers should add cow dung manure to the pits and fill 5 milliliters in one liter of water and fill it in the pits. This will prevent termites and white braids. At this time, light plowing of fields is also beneficial so that rain water can be preserved. With this, the salts collected during use in rabi crops will move out of the root area.
Right time for sowing vegetables
According to agricultural experts, this time is best for sowing of pumpkin class vegetables. Farmers can choose varieties like gourd gourd Pusa Naveen, Bitter gourd Pusa special, Pusa Vishwas of Sitaphal, Pusa Nasdar of Turai and Pusa Barkha of cucumber. Apart from this, early cauliflower, tomato, green chillies and eggplants can also be made at this time. It is necessary to treat seeds at the rate of Tharam 2 to 2.5 grams per kg. It is advisable to adopt Nylon’s lattice and light loop technique to prevent pests.
