Smart ring The arena is developing quickly, but our speed still determines. Its current generation ring is polished, feature-pack and effectively reliable. Nevertheless, no device line is immune for itching for something else. The new rivals entered the scene and take the right time to think about what is next, to wear fast. The OURA Ring 5 is probably out in a way, but I am already wondering what the next model can include.
A sophisticated design

Catiline Simino / Android Authority
The strength of the OURA ring has always been its compact, disinterested form factor. He said, design is not everything I want in terms of comfort and aesthetics. While the current generation is light and generally prudent, it seems thicker especially for users with small -handed or for those who, like me, wear many rings. This is also uncomfortable during the strength workouts associated with weight or bar. Despite the refinement between General 3 and General 4, the newest model, including removing the bulbus sensor, remains a bulkier than contestants such as the Galaxy Ring, which makes me feel smooth, more scratched and generally more comfortable. I would like to see the OURA Ring 5 launch with a slight slimmer profile (without renunciation of battery life or sensor accuracy). Additional finish (with full coatings, please) and extended size options will also create its appeal without compromising the main design language of the brand.
Finger-based hiptics
I am also eager to look at the Haptic reaction, which is making its way for the OURA Ring 5. The first time I heard about Haptics on Smart Ring, when I tested the circular ring slim, and honestly, I crawled slightly from this idea. But after using the device, I grew to love soft vibrations for alarm and timer alert. Adding Haaptics to the OURA ring will provide the same incompatible, practical functionality and make the ring even more useful tools. Given how powerful Sleep tracking It makes sense only to act as an alarm for the device.
A more powerful charging equipment

Catiline Simino / Android Authority
The current OURA ring lineup comes with a wired charging puck that requires a power outlet, which limits portability and convenience. While the system gets work, it decreases compared to compact charging cases introduced by the contestants. These cases include the underlying batteries, allowing users to up their devices without the need to plug their equipment. This means low cable management and more flexibility. A charging case is one of my biggest requests for OURA Ring 5. This will not only improve the purpose; This will also help to keep your edge, rather than feeling behind the ball.
Digital payment support
I am really expecting that the OURA ring brings NFC support for contactless payments for the fingers of 5 users. For the beginning, it is no longer good to pay with your wearing, it is quite standard. More especially, this will make the ring a more powerful stand-alone device and will give me another reason to leave your smartwatch at home. I know that a smart ring will never pack all the features of a wrist-based, screen-cutting, but adding NFCs seems like a very received upgrade that will create a big difference.
Even long battery life

Catiline Simino / Android Authority
I know that OURA Ring 4 already puts the smartestwatch to be ashamed, but it is always more when it comes to battery life. In the next generation, I am expecting to see even better efficiency, whether it is through clever power management or a slightly larger battery, without adding bulk. Long -term time between allegations means that freedom to wear the ring continuously, especially during travel or busy weeks, is the same type of upgrade that keeps the wearballs friendly to the user.

Will there be an OURA ring 5?

Catiline Simino / Android Authority
So far, Ora has not officially confirmed the existence or release timeline of Aura Ring 5. Since we are not even a year in the current generation, it is not very surprising. The company usually keeps wrapping future product plans until it is ready to announce. Said that, given the success and popularity of the current generation, it is likely that an next-gene model is in tasks.
- OURA Ring 2 – Announced in November 2017
- OURA Ring 3 – October 3, 2021
- OURA Ring 4 – October 15, 2024
The latest OURA ring launched about three years after its predecessor, arriving in October every October. My best guess is that we will wait a uniform long for the next model. Ora does not release new hardware annually like many smartwatch brands. Waiting may be waiting, but it also means that we are more likely to see significant upgrades from generation to generation.
Should you wait for OURA Ring 5?

Catiline Simino / Android Authority
Waiting for the next OURA ring may seem to be fine in principle, but in practice, it means that from months, or even years, the useful health has been missing with insights. OURA Ring is not around 5 corner, and given the release rhythm of Ora, it will probably not be long. The current model, OURA Ring 4, already nails the fundamental: overall wellness tracking, precise sleep monitoring, and a low-profile design that will fit without disturbance in your life. It is a great device that is now available. If you want to optimize your health, it is not meaningful to close it for the future version.
Also said, OURA Ring 4 is not just a smart ring. Galaxy ring ($ 399.99 on Amazon) There is a solid pick for someone within the Samsung ecosystem. It is light and comfortable and facilitates unique integration with Samsung phones and galaxy watches. Ringcon gene 2 ($ 299 on manufacturer site) And General 2 air ($ 199 on Amazon) Every good budget is favorable options.
