In Venice, Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s $ 50 million marriage faced criticism from Dubai’s influencers, who found it weak.
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding wedding in Venice made global headlines, but not everyone was affected, especially affected by Dubai, who resorted to social media to make fun of the celebration of the founder of Amazon.
The three-day affair, packed with A-list celebrities and held at some most special places in Italy, attracted extensive attention and even provoked backlashes from locals.
But when Italians criticized the marriage for their extravagance, Dubai’s affected slammed it to contrast, claiming that the incident lacked the expected nature and spectacle from one of the world’s richest men.
‘Rich people are not right’
In a video, the content was shared by the creator Shahd, who goes by @khaleejette, called the Bland Gray Carpet, which the couple went during their ceremony.
“If you spend $ 50 million on a wedding, why are you carpet with an office carpetri? I can smell the carpet in this picture. It smells like an office. It is an executive decision to keep an office-grade carpet for a $ 50 million wedding,” he said, “The rich people were not right.”
Shahd doubled his criticism and claimed that the couple should have married at Amazon headquarters. “In which world it is ugly gray acceptable?” He said.
‘Cheap and basic’
Shahd also took a jab at Bezos’s wedding invitation, stating that it seemed that it was designed on “Microsoft Word” in 2003. “The illustrations are pixelated and cheap. Font is very basic. Rent a graphic designer,” she took a pinch.
Dubai-based comedian Nasir al-ray also slammed the wedding due to lack of marriage. “I expected at the top. I wanted people on elephants, helicopters. It is all that we have found? It proves to me that you can have all the money in the world, but you can’t buy class, Habbi,” he said.
