Andy Rodik has suggested that IGA Swiatek should take “more balls on its backhand” ahead of its 2025 grass-court debut.
Five times Grand Slam Champion Swetech The WTA 500 event in Germany will play its first grass-court match of the season at the Bad Homberg Open.
The pole will face qualifiers in the second round and two-time Australian Open Champion Victoria Azranka, with a round-one bye.
Before withdrawing due to illness, Swiyatech was a semi -finalist in the tournament two years ago.
However, the grass is widely considered as the weakest surface of his career.
The WTA has never reached the finals on the grass and has never made it before the quarter-finals of Wimbledon, which returned to that stage once, in 2023.
