Another honeymoon ends in murder: Andhra wife, her married lover arrested for killing husband weeks after wedding

In the case of a recent murder of honeymoon in Meghalaya, a 32 -year -old land surveyor from Telangana was found dead a few days after the disappearance. Police say he was allegedly killed by three contract killers hired by his wife’s lover. Four people have been taken into custody, while the chief suspect said that the wife’s lover is still missing.

The victim went missing on June 17

The victim G. Tejeshwar, a private land surveyor from Rajeweedi in Gadwal city, married 25 -year -old T Sahasra alias Ishverya a month ago at Anjaney Temple in Beenupalli. Despite the resistance of Tejeshwar’s family, the couple tied the knot on 17 May.
On the evening of 17 June, Tejeshwar came into a car of Gadwal and did not return home. His brother, Tejvardhan filed a report of a missing person with the Gadwal Town Police the next day.

“We verified the CCTV footage at various places and found that Tejeshwar came into a car on June 17. Our teams on June 21 set up a disintegrated body in the HNSS canal in Sugalimeta under Panam Police Station Seema of Nandal district (AP). The family members of the victim identified the body.

Three people arrested for murder

Based on the registration of the car, the police picked up three suspects from Kurnool – Nagesh, Parashuram and Raju. Investigation revealed that the three had approached Thirumala Rao, the manager of a non-banking finance company (NBFC) in Kurnool, who were seeking loans. According to the police, it was Rao who convinced him to kill him.


“Three said that Thirumala Rao convinced him to kill Tejeshwar. On June 17, he picked up Tejeshwar from Gadwal on the pretext of conducting a land survey in Jerwali in Gadwal. He killed him by cutting his throat in a car. Rao allegedly paid ₹ 2 lakh to the killers. Swift Dzire was later recovered from the Swift Dzire.

Wife among the arrested people; The main accused on run

Tejeshwar’s wife, Ishwari, has also been taken into custody. Police said she was aware of the murder plan and even shared her husband’s location with the main accused Thirumala Rao.

According to investigators, Rao, who is married, was in a relationship with Ishwari’s mother Sujath. He worked as a sweeper at NBFC where Rao was appointed. In his absence, Ishwariya used to do cleanliness, during which Rao also developed a relationship with him.

A senior police officer said, “Tejeshwar believed his story and married Ishverya on 18 May, against his family’s advice. His family also reluctantly married at the wedding.

Police say there is a manhunt running to trace Rao, which is believed to be the main accused. The motive behind the murder is still under investigation.
