A bitter deadlock between Prime Minister Nicole Pashinian and Armenian Apostolic Church has a Christian arrest, allegations of conspiracy of a coup and an extraordinary offer by the leader of Armenia to reveal his private parts.
Earlier this week, Pashinian told his 1.1 million followers on Facebook that he was ready to highlight himself for the Armenian Church and his spokesman, to prove that he was circumcised.
After the so -called velvet revolution of Armenia, the 2018 became a favorite means of social media communication after the so -called velvet revolution of Armenia.
Pashinian faced important elections next year and the Church became an anti -government voice as Armenia was defeated in the 2020 war with neighboring Azerbaijan.
Last Monday, his extraordinary offering followed a Facebook post by a priest in the South -Western city of Massis, alleging that Pashinian was circumcised, compared to Judas and saying that he was not a Christian.
“I believe that our Apostolic Holy Church should immediately purify itself,” Father Zareh Ashuran said, “Among those false ‘believers’ who have cheated the nation, defaming the memory of their ancestors, violated the baptization, and replaced the holy cross with a sign of circumcision.”
The confrontation between the church and the state began in late May when the Prime Minister accused the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Catholicus Karkin II, who accused him of breaking the fast of celibacy and demanding a child to demand replacement of a child.
The church issued a statement accusing Armenia’s “spiritual unity”, but did not address the claim about the child.
The government-affiliated media later broadcast photographs and names of the alleged daughter of Karkin II, while Pashinian despite the constitutional provisions that guarantee the separation of a “coordination group” to organize a new church leader’s election.

When Karkin II returned from a UAE visit last week, hundreds of supporters gathered at Jerevan Airport Verpar (Pontif).
They asked for unity and restraint, saying that they would overcome this difficulty simultaneously.
The crisis then increased on Wednesday when security services detained 16 people, including Archbishop Bagrat Galstanian, a senior cleric who leads the opposition sacred struggle movement. They face allegations of plotting terrorist acts to confiscate power.
Others detained are one opposition member, a former MP, a businessman and a blogger.
The Armenia’s investigative committee alleged that the group planned to establish 250 “attacks” groups of 250 members, which cause massive disturbances to meet the attacks, and that “a large amount of objects and objects for criminal activity were found during a large amount of” discoveries “.
The Archbishop led the anti-government protests last year and a court now ruled that it should spend two months ago in custody. He faces allegations of planning terrorism and trying to overthrow the state.
His lawyers have dismissed the allegations as “political oppression”.
After the arrest, the media-linked media claimed that there was a detailed opposition coup plan, allegedly included the church, recently detained Russian-Armenian billionaire Samel Karpatan, and two former President-Robert Kohar Kohar Koharparan and Serz Sargison.
Nicole Pashinian shared an assembling of photographs of four men and said that the incident would be history as “failed revolution of miscreants”.

Samail Karapeton, who holds dual Russian and Armenian citizenship, is one of the richest men in Armenia, with an estimated money of $ 4bn (£ 2.9bn).
He is the owner of the Tashir Group, known in Russia for his pizza brand. It is a group that operates the electric network of Armenia along with real estate – a major energy distributor in the country.
One of the most prominent beneficiaries of the Armenian Apostolic Church was arrested after creating a public video to give his support for the Church.
“I always stand with the Armenian Church and Armenians. If the politicians do not succeed, we will intervene in this campaign against the church,” he warned.
Hours after the statement, the law enforcement officers discovered in the mansion of Karpaton, arrested and later publicly accused of calling for the seizure of power.
He has denied all the allegations against him.
A spokesman for Pashinian suggested that the billionaire had decided to use “the classic manual from the answer” – a clear context for Russia.
The Prime Minister later announced his intention to nationalize Carpeton’s Electric Network of Armenia (ENA) and told a cabinet meeting on Thursday that the government would start controlling it.
“We should do this rapidly and effectively,” said Pashinian.
Karpaton’s arrest with her photos appeared in Moscow after hoarding the giant – and the Armenian migrants of Russia expressed support for the billionaire.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman Maria Zakharova said Moscow was promising to provide necessary assistance to ensure that his legal rights were respected to ensure that his legal rights were respected.
