Mumbai: With the elections of Bhanambhi Municipal Municipal Corporation (BMC), soon, BJP President Ashish Sheller has announced the names of district-level office bearrs and asked them to review the excellent ward-wise to review the details on July 7. MLA Ameet Satam and Vidya Thakur.
Mulund Mla Mihir Kotcha and former MP Manoj Kotak will review the North East district, while MLA Parag Alawani and Sanjay Upadhyay have been given the charge of North Central District. The south central district will be reviewed by MLA Prasad Lad and former MLA Sunil Rane.
South Mumbai district will be reviewed by Minister of State for Mangal Prabhat Lodha and Legislative Assembly President Rahul Narvekar.
The BJP wants to capture BMC, which was under the control of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray) from 1996 to 2022. In the 2017 civil elections, the BJP got 82 seats and the army got 84. His caste was not disqualified as certificates.
Sheller also announced the inclusion of 27 key members, including the current and former MLA, former corporators, president of BJP Mahila Morch and Youth Morch from Mumbai – to lead the party’s election strategy.
