Chhapra The bus of policemen going on security duty at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s program in Chhapra, Bihar, fell victim to a road accident near Doriganj. On Wednesday morning, an uncontrolled truck hit the bus strongly near Doriganj police station area. 25 policemen were injured in this accident. All the injured have been admitted to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for immediate treatment. According to the hospital administration, all the policemen are out of danger.
The injured ASI Advocate Kumar said that all the policemen were sitting in the bus and the journey was going on normally. Then the bus broke down. The driver landed down to fix the bus. Then the speeding truck coming from the front hit the bus. The collision was so strong that many policemen fell from the seat and the driver was badly trapped. As soon as the accident was reported, the local police reached the spot and sent the injured to the hospital. The truck driver escaped from the spot and is being searched. The police is investigating the case.
