Former Chicago White Socce Bobby Jenx died at the age of 44 in a rare manner of stomach cancer.
Genx Chicago was a twice all-star Pitcher for the Chicago White Socks and was part of the team that ended the 88-year wait for the World Series title in 2005.
He threw the final pitch of the match in the series game Char as White Sox defeated Houston Astro.
“We have lost a prestigious member of the White Sox family,” Jerry Rindorf said in a statement, White Sox President.
“None of us will ever forget all of us who Bobby did for the 2005 World Series Champion and for the entire Sox Organization during his time in Chicago.”
