Body of 1,212 soldiers realled in the latest swap with Russia

The bodies of 1,212 Ukrainian soldiers are back from Russia, as part of a prisoner exchange agreement among the warfare countries.

In return, Russia received 27 bodies, the main conversation of Moscow Vladimir Medinski.

The prisoner exchange deal was the only concrete result of peace talks in Turkey last week, both sides agreed to hand over more than 6,000 bodies, as well as sick and heavy injured prisoners to prisoners of war and people under 25 years of age.

Medinsky announced that Russia would start exchanging “seriously injured prisoners” on Thursday.

The deceased soldiers were from various regions of Ukraine, which was said to be on Telegram for the treatment of The Treatment of Prisoners for the coordination center of Donnetsk, Kharkiv, Kheson and Zaporizhia, Ukraine.

The Center said that it would “establish the identity of the deceased as soon as possible”.

This is not the first time that the bodies have been returned in this struggle -thousands have been exchanged in more than 70 separate reversions.

The exchange follows Moscow for several days of allegations that Ukraine had failed to gather bodies, which Medinski said that since Saturday, he was sitting in refrigerated trucks at an exchange point.

Medinski also said on Saturday that Ukraine had “unexpectedly postponed” the prisoner’s swap. In response, Ukraine said Russia was playing “dirty tricks” and manipulating the facts.

The first round of exchanges took place on Monday. The missing Ukrainian soldiers had emotional scenes as families, who gathered near the border with Belarus to suppress the prisoners returning for information about their loved ones.

On that day, soldiers from both sides were exchanged. But neither Russia nor Ukraine gave an accurate number of how many people were swapped.
