Brad Binder first arrived at the end of the race in Essen after Jerez, but clarified that it is not enough to see the checker flag.
“It doesn’t matter to me a lot! I will rather intensify,” Red bull ketm Rider, after finishing tenth in Saturday’s sprint and eleventh in Sunday Dutch Motoogp,
Tie. All weekends fought over the weekends with speed and front confidence on RC16, qualified in 16th and finished as the last of four KTM riders in the Grand Prix.
“I could have done the same lap time in almost every lap, but it was very slow. So really missing the speed at the end of this week,” he accepted. “I now need to go home and analyze where I was losing all the time. And I was struggling very much to try in a decent lap together.”
A major issue was the front-end volatility under acceleration, where the binder experienced a frequent, confident-sepping vobbal.
“I think the last two tracks, especially, my biggest issue is in all pickup zones. When I open the throttle, I am staggering,” he said. “And when it starts, it does not stop until I roll the throttle.”
He said, “You do this every time.” “But anyway, even on laps where I could keep it under control, I was not enough.”
Binder is now ranked 13th in the World Championship Standing, the best result of the sixth so far this year.
“I need to do my homework now and make sure that I know how to be faster when I come here next time.”
